Lilac Fire Incident Update

The Lilac Fire is 80% contained and all mandatory evacuations have been lifted. The County has set up a Local Assistance Center to assist victims of the fire at the Vista Library located at 700 Eucalyptus Avenue from 9 am -
6 pm.

Next Phase of PSF Street Improvements Underway

Construction is underway on the next phase of the Paseo Santa Fe Street Improvement Project. Crews will begin at Oceanview Drive and work toward Civic Center Drive. For more information on the PSF construction updates, register for e-notices on the City website.

Roundabout Discussion at Next Traffic Commission Meeting

December 11, 2017 l 10:15 am  

The City is proposing to remove the stop signs at Shadowridge Drive and Live Oak Road and replace them with a roundabout. This proposal will be discussed at the next Traffic Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in the Civic Center Council Chambers at 6 pm. Please Note: The December 6 Traffic Commission meeting was cancelled and this discussion will take place at the January meeting.

City Council to Discuss Bub Williamson Park Improvements

Winter Walking Club

The City's travel program, Culture Caravan, has planned three Winter Walking Club walks: Lake Calaveras on January 8, Discovery Lake on February 5, and Lake Dixon on March 5. Roundtrip transportation from Vista is included in the $21 ticket. After each walk, enjoy a breakfast at a cafe (not part of your ticket). For information and reservations call 760.643.2828.
